Description The black bamboo Phyllostachys nigra is native to southern China. The culms of this bamboo are black, 2 to 5 cm in diameter and reach a height of about 2m – 5m. Press the seeds onto moist cultivation soil, cover them thinly with the substratum and move the container in a warm spot.
