Description The Brugmansia sanguinea, which is also called the blood red angel trumpet, is the most colorful of all angel trumpets. The flower length is between 15 and 25 cm and their colors are intensely bright. In contrast to many other angel trumpets, this species blooms in cooler temperatures. The main flowering period is from June to October. The branches are soft and the leaves are slightly hairy.
