Description This is reportedly the first open-pollinated bi-color sweet corn variety. It is based on a nice yellow corn called Burnell that was grown in Maine in the early 1900’s and an early white heirloom from New York’s St. Lawrence Valley. Its stalks reach about six feet in height with ears that are a bit variable but average seven inches long and are filled with twelve to fourteen rows of tender, sweet, white and yellow kernels. (75 days)
