The complex structure of a normal RO membrane can be prone to premature organic fouling, reducing permeate production, resulting in early changeout. To lower energy consumption and extend element life, SPECTRUM RO membranes are cast uniquely with an additional anti-fouling layer applied to the surface of the flatsheet.
