Designed, written and illustrated by a team of Moravian women, the book celebrates the achievements of three Bauer brothers from the town of Valtice in Moravia. All three came from humble means only to become famous for early period scientific inquiry and as pioneers of sought-after biological illustration. The bright and colorful illustrations of contributors accompany accounts of each brother’s pursuits and achievements.
