The Aqua Filter FCPRA-C 10″ replacement cartridge is a high quality water filter, consisting of two filtration stages.The first stage: Coconut activated carbon from coconut shell, provides effective reduction of chlorine, organic substances, certain pesticides and improves the taste and smell of water.The second stage: The polyphosphate crystals dissolve in water and have the property to break down the salts present in the water and to make it “softer” to use. Polyphosphate crystals bind substances that are responsible for the formation of salt and calcium deposits. They neutralize the mineral salts (calcium, magnesium and iron) that are present in the incoming water, in order to protect machines, boilers, washing machines from the “sedimentation” of the above elements and the deposits of salts in the devices and machines.The FCPRA-C cartridge is only used for cold water filtration.Available sizes: 10” Working temperature: 2°C – 45°C Longevity: 3-6 months (depending on the quality of the feed water).Detailed information available in PDF card.
