Aquafilter FCCFE-L 20″ Iron removal cartridges filled with NSF approved media. They reduce the concentration of iron and manganese in water. Iron in a concentration as low as 0,3 mg/l can become a source of yellow to dark-brown stains often found in sinks, toilets and other plumbing fixtures. If iron is present in detectable amounts it can ruin the taste of tea, coffee and beverages. Manganese is much more annoying than iron.
